The circular part above the entrance needs to be filled-out with a circular window. Rectangle into round hole is not a good aesthetic .

haha, when I showed the guy my sketch, he liked the arch and asked if we could have it in more places. I’m trying to keep it restrained so I don’ t end up on that sight.

she seems to like the gambrel / cottage look and he likes Fe deralist (think fancy formal colonial style) so I’m trying to mesh straight likes with swoopy lines.

yea, the whole project is making me nervous. They wanted 5000 sq ft and with all the rooms and shit they have adde d we’re up to 6000 sq ft. He wants ‘grand’, so we wont be using vinyl siding. The stone isn’ t cheap. The whole thing is probably going to make this guy’s bank account implode.

I’m actually a little nervous on your behalf.  I’m curious to see when he realizes he’s gone too far.  He seems like the kind of guy who won’t be willing to admit that though.
